In 2017, the Rhodes Trust celebrated the 40th anniversary of the first women Scholars in Oxford. The milestone was marked with a special programme of events celebrating the achievements of Rhodes Women around the world, including a conference at Rhodes House which was attended by female Scholars from all years since 1977. The celebration preceded the appointment of Dr. Elizabeth Kiss, a 1983 Rhodes scholar, as Warden of the Rhodes Trust – the first woman to hold this position.
We developed a campaign identity for the event with a bold and exuberant theme, which was applied to invitations, programmes, display materials and electronic communications. The event was a huge success, with attendees from the many Rhodes constituencies around the world.
